Motion Is Now Available in NIN SPOT
Motion is now available for objects in NIN.Earth. It all starts with a single line drawn on the globe.
1. Path
Draw a line on the globe to create a Path for an object to follow. Adjust the points and curvature to refine its route.
2. Speed
Speed determines how fast an object travels along its Path. Even on the same Path, changing the Speed creates a different Motion.
3. Orientation
Orientation determines which direction an object faces as it moves. It can face the direction of travel, remain upright, or maintain its initial orientation.
Motion in NIN.Earth is defined by three elements:
- Path — Where does it move?
- Speed — How fast does it move?
- Orientation — Which direction does it face?
Playback
Once a Motion is created, Playback determines how it is played. Once plays the Motion one time, Repeat loops it, and Ping-Pong reverses it when the object reaches the end of its Path.
Simple controls. Freedom to create.
“Have that bird slowly circle the fountain while facing it, then stop after one lap.”
The route around the fountain becomes the Path, “slowly” defines the Speed, facing the fountain defines the Orientation, and stopping after one lap corresponds to Once in Playback.
Just as people can define Motion through Path + Speed + Orientation, and control its playback, AI can use the same structure to understand how an object should move.
NIN Spot can be used for free at any location for 24 hours.
