Expanding the “Spatial Internet”: NIN.Earth VR Mode

Summary

Access to VR Mode: Instantly enter via the VR Mode icon (purple cube) on the main page
Spatial Experience: Freely visit and explore Domain Spaces without physical travel
Device Environment: Currently optimized for Meta Quest 3, with expansion to various VR devices planned

Official Launch & Access

NIN.Earth’s VR Mode has officially launched.

Users can now directly visit Domain Spaces on the Digital Earth within an immersive virtual environment, look around freely, and experience diverse spatial interactions.

A VR Mode icon (purple cube) has been newly added to the bottom of the main page.

By clicking (or tapping) the icon, users can instantly enter VR Mode without any additional installation process.

Users can visit not only their own Domain Space but also those of other users within the virtual environment.

They can explore the surroundings freely while viewing a spatial structure identical to how it is implemented in reality.

The Vision of the "Spatial Internet"

NIN.Earth aspires to build a “Spatial Internet.”

While the traditional internet connected documents and pages, NIN.Earth introduces a new internet structure that integrates information, ownership, and experience on a unified coordinate system based on the Digital Earth.

If AR Mode overlays digital elements onto physical space, VR Mode offers another approach—allowing users to directly enter and experience the space itself without physical movement.

We developed VR Mode to expand the Digital Earth beyond something that is simply viewed, into a space that can be “visited and inhabited.”

Even without physically traveling to a location, VR Mode allows users to explore Domain Spaces, examine Monument and 3D Object placements, and experience the characteristics of Earth’s spaces in a 3D way.

We expect VR Mode to open the following new possibilities for users:

  • Remote Visits: Freely explore Domain Spaces around the world without physical travel

  • Enhanced Engagement: Expand interaction through environments where user spaces can be visited remotely

  • Pre-Planning & Review: Improve investment environments by previewing and planning within Earth’s spaces

  • Expanded Spatial Awareness: Experience the Digital Earth as a shared space through the concept of a “Spatial Internet”

Device Optimization & Future Expansion

This VR Mode release has been initially optimized for the Meta Quest 3 device environment to provide a stable user experience.

Moving forward, we will continue updates and development to expand optimization across various VR device environments.

By improving device compatibility and functionality, we aim to gradually broaden access so that more users can enjoy diverse activities and new spatial experiences within VR Mode.

The launch of VR Mode marks an important milestone in NIN.Earth’s pursuit of the “Spatial Internet.”

We look forward to your active participation and feedback, and we will continue to evolve to provide diverse spatial experiences within the internet environment.
