We are moving into Phase II — NIN.Earth CEO
As we begin 2026, I want to revisit something I shared earlier.
After focusing on AR development last year, I said that this year we would concentrate on VR.
Since then, the basic structure of AR, VR, and 3D has been completed, and Phase I of the NIN.Earth roadmap has largely come to an end.
Phase I started with a simple but important question:
“How should a true 1:1 Earth really be built?”
When I looked at other projects claiming to build a 1:1 Earth, I often felt something wasn’t right.
I found myself thinking, “Can this really be called 1:1 Earth?”
That frustration led to another question:
“If not this way, then how should we build it?”
Phase I was our attempt to answer that question through structure, not just words.
During this time, we built:
- A true 1:1 Earth-based system
- Tile selection and purchase
- Wallet connection
- Automatic NFT minting and use
- 3D object placement and interaction
- A real-time system where changes appear the same in AR, VR, and 3D
- Ongoing contents through our Guidebook, YouTube, Blog, and X
Now, we are moving into Phase II.
Phase II begins with a different question:
"If we truly build a 1:1 Earth, how do we handle an enormous number of Tiles, even more Objects, and user interactions on a global scale?"
This stage is not about visible features.
It is mostly back-end work. Because of that, users may not immediately feel dramatic changes.
* More details about Phase II, visit the 🌏NIN.Earth main page.
But this is also when what we built in Phase I starts to grow into something much larger.
As more sample Objects are added, users will be able to shape and expand their Domain Spaces more freely.
From where I stand, what comes next feels even more exciting than what we have built so far.
[What lies ahead matters] more than [what we have already done].
